HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning):

Our HVAC inspection ensures your heating and cooling systems are functioning efficiently, helping you avoid unexpected breakdowns and high energy bills.

Fireplace:

A fireplace inspection is essential for both safety and functionality. We check for proper ventilation, creosote buildup, and structural integrity to ensure your fireplace is safe to use.

Basement, Crawlspace, and Structure:

We thoroughly inspect basements and crawlspaces for signs of water damage, structural issues, and foundation concerns. Identifying these early can save you thousands in repairs.

Electrical:

Electrical systems are the backbone of your home’s functionality and safety. We inspect wiring, outlets, circuit breakers, and panels to ensure they meet current safety standards. Faulty wiring or outdated systems can pose serious fire risks. Our inspection helps identify potential hazards, ensuring your home is safe and up to current standards.

Roof and attic:

Your roof and attic play a vital role in protecting your home from the elements. We inspect for missing shingles, leaks, insulation quality, and ventilation issues. Identifying problems early can prevent costly water damage, improve energy efficiency, and extend the lifespan of your roof. Our thorough evaluation gives you peace of mind knowing your home is well-protected.

Plumbing:

From pipes to fixtures, we thoroughly inspect your plumbing system for leaks, water pressure issues, and potential water damage. Properly functioning plumbing is essential for daily convenience and preventing costly repairs. Our inspection ensures your system is in top condition, saving you from unexpected headaches and expenses.

Interior, exterior, walls, windows, and doors:

We meticulously evaluate the interior and exterior of your property, including walls, windows, and doors, to identify issues like cracks, drafts, or improper sealing. These areas are critical to maintaining your home’s energy efficiency, security, and overall structural integrity.

Our Home Inspection Process – Simple, Thorough, and Stress-Free

At Keystone Castle Inspections, we follow a step-by-step process to make sure your home inspection is detailed, efficient, and easy to understand. Here’s how we do it:

  1. Start Inside: Room Photos and Videos
We begin by taking photos or videos of every room inside the property. This gives you a visual reference for our report and helps you plan how to move your belongings into the space.

  2. Move Outside: Exterior Photos
Next, we take photos of the outside of the property. We capture the front, sides, and back to document the condition of the exterior.

  3. Top-Down Inspection: Roof First
We inspect the roof first, walking on it when it’s safe to do so. If we can’t access certain areas, we use a drone to get a closer look. This helps us spot any issues like missing shingles or damage.

  4. Exterior Systems and Components
After the roof, we check the rest of the exterior in a clockwise direction. This includes:

    • Eaves and soffits

    • Windows and doors

    • Siding and drainage

    • Decks, porches, and patios

    • AC condenser units and other outdoor systems

  5. Inside the Property: Room-by-Room Inspection
We then move inside and inspect each room in the same clockwise pattern. As we go, we use special software to write your report in real time. This ensures you get your report within 24 hours or less.

  6. Thermal Imaging: Finding Hidden Issues
At the end of the inspection, we use thermal imaging to check for problems you can’t see with the naked eye, like hidden leaks or insulation gaps.

  7. Client Debrief: No Surprises
In the last 30 minutes, we sit down with you to go over our findings. We explain everything in plain language and answer any questions you have. Our goal is to make sure you feel confident and informed about your property.

Why Our Process Works

  • Thorough: We inspect every part of your property, inside and out.

  • Efficient: You get your report quickly, so you can make decisions without delay.

  • Clear: We explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand.

  • Stress-Free: Our process is designed to give you peace of mind.
